In this competition, we invite you to share the real life stories of our brave heroes whose courage and sacrifices often go unnoticed. This theme is about honouring those soldiers and heroes who gave their all for our country but didn’t receive the recognition they truly deserved.
These heroes might be someone from your own family who has lived through these challenges or witnessed the bravery of another firsthand. Through your stories, you have the power to bring these extraordinary lives into the light, sharing their strength, the struggles they endured, and the inspiration they left behind. By telling their stories, you’ll help preserve their legacy and remind others of the profound strength behind their sacrifice.

 

In this competition, you get to be the storyteller! You can write about:

• A family member in the armed forces who has inspired you with their courage.
  
• A story of a brave individual whose journey was witnessed by someone in your family, leaving a lasting impact

Competition Details

 

1. Eligibility: This competition is only for the children of  defence personnel ( servicemen, ex – serviceman, CAPF )

 

2. Categories:

The competition will have two age-based groups

• • Primary group ( 12 -14 years)
  • Secondary group ( 15 – 18 Years)

3. Submission Categories:

Participants can submit their entry in one of two ways:

• • Story or Anecdotes: Submit a story or Anique-dotes in Hindi or English, within 500 – 700 words.
  • Video Submission: Create a video no longer than 3 minutes. Videos can be in Hindi, English, or a combination of both

4. Entry Requirements:

• Written Entries:
  • Format: PDF or Word document include: Name, school name, grade, and the location at the top of the document.
• Video Entries:
  • Format: MP4, with good audio and visual quality, recorded in portrait mode (9:16 aspect ratio).
  • Submission Method: Upload the video or share a link (YouTube, Google Drive, etc.). 

5. Judging Criteria:

• • Creativity and Originality: The story should be based on a real-life event.
  • Emotional Impact: How well the entry conveys themes of courage and sacrifice.
  • Clarity and Presentation: For written entries, clarity of writing and presentation; for video entries, audio-visual quality and storytelling.
  • Theme Relevance: How well the story aligns with the central theme.
  • Ethos and Values: Participants will be judged on the depth and authenticity of their story rather than language proficiency or grammar.

6. Prize:

• • Top 8 winners in each category will receive certificates and Amazon vouchers, with special felicitations at their schools.
  • Top 20 Articles with the participant’s name will be featured on faujibeats.com. 

7. Submission Process:

• • All entries must be submitted by November 15, 2024.
  •  Entries must be submitted through the contest’s Google Form
  • Each participant is allowed only one entry per submission category.

• Felicitation: Our team will personally visit the winners’ schools to felicitate them, celebrating their achievements
